Speaker: Max Breet

Born and raised in Bristol, UK Max spent his youth pursuing a professional rugby career with Bristol RFC Academy. Max completed a BSc Psychology at University of Nottingham before commissioning as an Officer with the Royal Marines Commandos, serving over nine years commanding teams on global operations.

Since leaving military service, he has made a seamless transition to Anduril Industries, Inc as their EMEA Operations lead – a hyper-growth start-up based in Irvine, CA principally focused on AI-enabled technologies to augment the U.S. and Allied defense & security communities.

From the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2019, Max most valued sharing this challenge against significant adversity with his three close friends while raising over 350,000 GBP for the West London Zone charity. His team (Fortitude IV) placed 1st overall from a fleet of 35 boats and won the race by over 168 nautical miles.
