Managing Director, Head of Practice Management
Linda Litner has been working in the Private Wealth Management industry since 2001 and brings a wealth of operational and managerial experience to Cresset Wealth Advisors. Prior to joining Cresset, Linda spent almost 10 years in the Private Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs, where she worked as the right hand to the Regional Manager of the Midwest. Linda handled the day-to-day operations of the division including recruiting and management of new advisors.
After Goldman, Linda spent time at Northern Trust and Summit Trail Advisors in strategy and operational roles prior to becoming the Director of Client Experience and a founding member of the Cresset Wealth Advisors team. Linda was a varsity tennis player at Tufts University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. Linda earned her BA in Economics and graduated first in her class in her major.
After Tufts, Linda earned her MBA from Harvard Business School. She was one of just 12 students directly admitted into Harvard Business School from undergraduate study. While Linda was once an avid runner, having completed five marathons and several half marathons, today Linda prefers to watch her children compete in their respective sports. She is the proud mother of William (18), a left-handed pitcher for Middlebury College, and Julia (17), a right-handed pitcher for Jones College Prep. Linda and her husband Mark also enjoy relaxing at home with their 5-year old cocker spaniel Lucy!
