Patrick Hejlik

Managing Director, Investments

Patrick Hejlik serves as a Managing Director, Investments at Cresset. In this role, he supports clients in pursuing their near- and long-term goals through a disciplined, logic-based approach to investing. He leverages more than 25 years of experience in portfolio design and asset allocation, and oversees his team’s options-based, liquid alternatives strategy, which has an audited track record dating to 2015. He spearheads all aspects of option trading, including idea generation, asset allocation, risk assessment, and the selection of securities, while also evaluating external managers. Patrick communicates regularly with clients, delivering personalized market insights and bespoke trading strategies.

Prior to joining Cresset, Patrick held positions at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management and served as a Managing Director at First Republic Private Wealth Management for more than eight years, leading his team’s investment and trading activities. Before that, he served as CEO and CIO of Fourth Quadrant Asset Management in San Francisco, where he specialized in trading options as an asset class in conjunction with global equities, fixed income, commodities, currencies, and cash. He has also worked at Fisher Investments, where he was a Research Analyst in the Industrials sector, and TD Securities, where he was a Vice President of Equity Options, responsible for managing the market-making book for the food, bank, and drug sectors. He began his investing career in 1997, as the Head Options Trader for Stafford Trading.

Originally from the Bay Area, Patrick earned his B.S. in finance from San Francisco State University.
