Edith Hayes is an Associate Director of Wealth Strategy with Cresset’s Denver office. In her role, Edith supports the Wealth Strategy team in advising Cresset’s clients on the estate planning and wealth transfer opportunities that they may utilize to enhance their legacy and preserve and grow family wealth in a manner that reflects their specific goals and unique needs.
Prior to joining Cresset, Edith was an attorney at a boutique law firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During her practice, Edith assisted high-net-worth clients with their various estate planning matters and has experience drafting estate planning documents, advising clients regarding the different fiduciary roles and responsibilities, preparing both state and federal estate tax returns and litigating complex estate and trust issues. Edith has also counseled clients regarding charitable and non-charitable gifting, as well as business entity structure and operation.
Edith earned a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York before obtaining a Juris Doctor degree at Mitchell Hamline College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Edith is a member of the State Bars of Colorado and Minnesota. Edith is also a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Minnesota Bar Association.
