Managing Director, Wealth Advisor

Jake Bond serves as a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor at TRUE Cresset | Sports + Entertainment, where he leverages his deep experience in capital markets and financial planning acumen. In this role, Jake partners with families to develop a comprehensive and customized asset management strategy to help them achieve their personal and financial goals. He has been working in the wealth management industry since 2005.

Prior to joining Cresset, Jake served as a Managing Director for 16 years at TRUE Capital Management (“TRUE”), a boutique family office managing close to $2 billion in assets before merging with Cresset. During his tenure at TRUE, Jake was instrumental in the development of the firm’s real estate investment platform, including the co-management of six real estate funds, deploying approximately $200 million in capital.  In addition, Jake was an active member of TRUE’s Investment Committee. Before TRUE Capital, Jake held positions at Citigroup Global Markets and Mass-Mutual Financial, where he began his career in the financial services industry. 

Jake is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Francisco, where he played baseball and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in international and developmental economics. Jake is an enthusiastic real estate and private equity investor who enjoys sports of all varieties. He spends his free time coaching and supporting the activities of his three sons, Camden, Carter, and Jackson, is an avid golfer. Jake also loves exploring the world with his wife, Kristin.
