Jim Robbins is Executive Managing Director at Cresset, where he works closely with ultra-high-net-worth families to provide them with customized and comprehensive wealth management solutions. Jim also serves in a leadership role on Cresset’s Investment Committee. Prior to that, Jim served as Shareholder and Investment Committee Chair at Meristem Family Wealth for more than 25 years.
Through experience from working in his youth, Jim realized that the concept of building wealth through service to others was important. His responsibilities have run the full spectrum throughout his career. Jim serves as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 and 100 CEOs. While his current duties primarily involve helping clients and their families, he also imparts to the client advisor professionals he leads the important roles they play in helping clients reach their financial goals.
His good-natured (and good-humored) attitude helps him lead a collaborative team of advisors who serve Cresset families by generating a process that helps simplify their complex financial lives.
Jim earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota.
