John Michael Klopfenstein is an Associate Director, Wealth Advisor who supports a Chicago based advisor team at Cresset. He has been interested in financial markets from an early age and prior to joining the firm, he began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their transaction accounting advisory practice.
John Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Georgia in 2019 and holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, a member of the CFA® Institute and CFA® Society of Chicago and previously held CPA licenses in North Carolina and Colorado. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, playing golf, skiing, and watching college football.
