Marc Sato

Managing Director, People and Culture

Marc Sato serves as Managing Director, People and Culture for Cresset and is responsible for leading HR strategies and initiatives.

Marc brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources, talent management, compensation, and employee relations in the professional services, insurance, and energy industries. He has a track record of HR business partnering, with a focus on data-driven HR strategies, performance management, talent development, and change management.

He most recently served as SVP, Sr. Human Resources Business Partner at Marsh McLennan, and previously as a Human Resources Manager for BP and AIG.

Marc earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in human resources management from Loyola University Chicago. He lives in suburban Chicago with his wife and three children.
