Michael serves as an Associate Director, Chief of Staff & Corporate Development to Cresset Co-Founder and Co-Chairman, Eric Becker. In his role, Michael works with teams across Cresset to execute the firm’s strategic initiatives. In addition, Michael helps execute Cresset’s corporate development strategy and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, coordinating due diligence, and financial modeling. He brings deep industry experience to Cresset, having previously been an investment banking analyst at Oppenheimer & Co., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions for asset managers and wealth managers.
Prior to Oppenheimer, Michael was on the M&A team at Focus Financial Partners, a leading partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms.
Michael graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in economics and history.
