Bob Dunkin is Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at Cresset, where he leads the firm’s West Palm Beach office. With nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, Bob provides integrated, holistic wealth management strategies for entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate executives, multi-generational families, and private and public foundations.
Before joining Cresset, Bob served as Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at U.S. Trust, leading a team dedicated to delivering boutique family office services. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer for a private family office in West Palm Beach and a principal at a private equity investment and consulting firm specializing in distressed commercial real estate acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Bob was Chief Investment Officer for a private commercial real estate investment firm in Dallas and later served as Chief Financial Officer, Director, and owner of a privately held bank in Texas.
An active community leader, Bob currently serves as Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County and as a board member of the Palm Beach Zoo. He is a former advisory board member of the Lemieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University and previously served as Chairman of the Valley Baptist Hospital Foundation in Harlingen, Texas.
Bob earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and his Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance and financial accounting, from Southern Methodist University, where he also completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking program. He and his wife, Debbie, live in North Palm Beach and have two children, Catherine and Cooper.
