Cresset received top honors in the “Multi-Family Office (new entrant)” category from the 2020 Family Wealth Report Awards.
Showcasing providers in the global private banking, wealth management, and trusted advisor communities, the awards recognize companies, teams, and individuals that have demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2019.
“We are proud of the Cresset team who made this award possible. We launched our family office services to better meet client needs and provide access to those families who have traditionally been underserved. Our vision to reinvent the way our clients experience wealth has generated substantial interest and growth,” said Cresset Founder and Co-Chairman Eric Becker.
One judge described Cresset’s entry as the “all-time best launch with very good strategy with obvious flexibility.”
“These awards recognize the very best operators in the private client industry, with independence, integrity and genuine insight the watchwords of the judging process – such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management,” said Stephen Harris, CEO of ClearView Financial Media, publisher of Family Wealth Report.
Family Wealth Report Awards recognize companies, teams and individuals from global private banking, wealth management and advisor communities that have demonstrated innovation and excellence during the previous calendar year. An expert panel of judges was drawn from both private banks and trusted advisors/consultants to the sector. There are three judging panels for the awards which helps to ensure that commercially sensitive information is kept confidential and to avoid conflicts of interest. Third-party rankings, awards listings and/or recognition by unaffiliated third-party rating services and/or publications should not be construed by a client or prospective client as a guarantee that he/she will experience a certain level of results if Cresset is engaged, or continues to be engaged, to provide investment advisory services, nor should it be construed as a current or past endorsement of Cresset by any of its clients. Third-party rankings and recognition from rating services and publications do not guarantee future investment success. Working with a highly rated investment advisor also does not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance. Generally, but not always, ratings, rankings and recognition are based on information provided by Cresset. Cresset submitted the information to be considered for the award and did not pay an application fee to participate. Cresset’s CEO was a member of one of the judging panels but was barred from participating as a judge for any awards for which Cresset was nominated. Cresset is not affiliated with Family Wealth Report.
