Todd Tautfest is a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor for Cresset in the greater Atlanta region. Todd has nearly 30 years of experience in wealth management focused on the unique needs of high-net-worth clients.
Prior to Cresset, Todd was Managing Director, Southeast Region for Wilmington Trust, where he worked with high-net-worth clients, business owners, foundations, and endowments. Todd graduated from University of Oklahoma with a BBA focused on Petroleum Land Management.
Todd has always believed in giving back to the communities he serves and has been active with community organizations through-out his career. He is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Advisory Board for Open Hand Atlanta. He is a past board member of The NAMES Project Foundation, the former custodian of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, and Open Hand Atlanta where he served as President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary and chaired Open Hand’s successful capital campaign in 2009 to acquire and renovate a new headquarters. Todd co-chaired Open Hand’s Party in the Kitchen in 2010, the SCAD Atlanta Scholarship Gala in 2010, the Alliance Theater’s “A Tony Evening in 2011, the National Black Arts Festival gala in 2015, and the Piedmont Park Conservancy’s Landmark Luncheon in 2019. Todd is a past Advisory Board member of the Alliance Theater, and past Board members of both the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. Earlier in his career, while living and working in Florida, Todd was a Board Member of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council, the Florida Philharmonic, and the Miami Light Project to name just a few.
Todd was recognized as one of Atlanta’s 500 most powerful leaders by Atlanta Magazine for 2024*. *The Atlanta 500 is a subjective award given out to Atlanta’s unsung visionaries such as CEOs of the largest companies, managing partners of big law firms, current presidents of professional organizations, and heads of top nonprofits, educational institutions, and arts groups. The Atlanta Magazine editorial board consulted experts across different sectors, and sought nominations from the public through social media. The award recipients did not submit information to be considered for the award.
