Use of the Website and Services on the Website

You can simply view the website and not use any Services on the website. You need not register with Cresset to simply visit and view the website.

However, in order to access certain password-restricted areas of the website and to use certain services and materials offered on and through the website, you must sign a customer agreement with Cresset, and a Cresset administrator will initiate the creation of your account.

Once a Cresset administrator has initiated the creation of your account, you will receive an e-mail which allows you to finalize your account registration. In order to do so, you will have to create a password for your login, provide a security question, your answer to that security question, and your telephone number to enable multi-factor authentication. Once you have submitted this information, your account registration will be complete and you will be able to login to your account from the website.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Cresset password, and you are responsible for all activities that occur using your passwords. You agree not to share your passwords, let others access or use your passwords or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your passwords. You agree to notify Cresset if any of your passwords on this website is lost, stolen, if you are aware of any unauthorized use of your passwords on this website or if you know of any other breach of security in relation to this website.

All the information that you provide when registering for an account and otherwise to Cresset must be accurate, complete and up to date. You may change, correct or remove any information from your account by either logging into your account directly and making the desired changes or contacting Cresset using the contact information at the end of the TOS requesting that we make the change.

General

The laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to the choice or conflicts of law provisions, will govern this TOS. Foreign laws do not apply.   The United Nations on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and any laws based on the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA) shall not apply to this Agreement.   Any disputes relating to this TOS or the website will be heard in the courts located in Cook County in the State of Illinois. If any of this TOS is found to be inconsistent with applicable law, then such term shall be interpreted to reflect the intentions of the parties, and no other terms will be modified.   Cresset’s failure to enforce any of this TOS is not a waiver of such term. This terms in this TOS are the entire agreement between you and Cresset and supersede all prior or contemporaneous negotiations, discussions or agreements between you and Cresset about this website. The proprietary rights, disclaimer of warranties, representations made by you, indemnities, limitations of liability and general provisions shall survive any termination of the TOS.
