Ali Kahil is Director, Tax Services, Automation Operations, helping Family Office clients with preparing individual, partnership, trust, and foundation tax returns, as well as implementing technological efficiencies for tax and financial planning processes. Prior to joining Cresset, Ali worked with Buckingham Strategic Wealth in their financial planning unit. He has also been previously featured on CNBC’s Closing Bell television program and recognized by The Motley Fool for his writings on millennial investing.
Ali graduated from George Mason University’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Global Affairs. During his time at the university, Ali served as President of The Montano Student Investment Fund, an institutional member of the Washington Association of Money Managers.
In the community, Ali created the Kahil Family Scholarship at George Mason University’s School of Business in support of refugees and children of refugees. He also sits on the business school’s degree board for the Financial Planning and Wealth Management program as part of the Next Generation and Academic Committee’s. In 2022, Ali was awarded one of the business school’s highest honors with the Prominent Patriot award for his professional, academic, and charitable achievements.
Ali resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with his family.
