Laura Neal is a Director in Cresset’s Family Office Services group, where she acts as a Relationship Manager, coordinating estate planning, family governance and education, reporting and CFO services, tax, lifestyle operations, insurance strategies, lending opportunities and wealth advisory services. Drawing on 15 years of experience in the personal finance industry, Laura works closely with clients and their advisory teams to manage the many moving parts across strategic wealth planning and overall family office operations.
Prior to joining Cresset, Laura was a Family Office Vice President and Relationship Manager at ICONIQ Capital, where she supported multiple ultra-high-net-worth families, founders, and C-suite executives primarily in the Bay Area, with a significant presence globally. In that role, she led complex, bespoke family office operations involving advanced tax and estate execution, philanthropic structuring and implementation, lifestyle services, home management, complex asset acquisitions, and wealth transfer planning. Laura also served as a central liaison to external advisors and vendors, overseeing bill pay, insurance matters, philanthropic initiatives, and operational project management across her clients’ personal entities, family estates, philanthropic vehicles and various businesses.
Earlier in her career, Laura worked as a Wealth Management Associate at Curi Capital, supporting clients with financial planning, execution and day-to-day advisory needs. She also served as an investment analyst for a private single-family office based in Denver.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from the University of Denver. She is based in Minneapolis with her family, where she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on a lake and exploring the city’s vibrant culinary scene.
