Sam Katzman is an Executive Managing Director, Wealth Advisor at Cresset. In this role, Sam works with families to develop comprehensive and customized financial plans to help them achieve their near- and long-term goals.
Prior to joining Cresset, Sam served as a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at First Republic Investment Management. Before that, he was the Chief Investment Officer for Constellation Wealth Advisors, where he ran the firm’s Investment Committee, providing direction and oversight to over $6 billion in assets under management. With a diverse background that has included positions at Citi Family Office as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Advisor, at the Chase Manhattan Bank, and at Salomon Brothers, Inc., Sam has also directed the financial assets for the family office of a wealthy New Jersey investor immediately prior to joining Citi Smith Barney. He began his career in the financial services industry at Arthur Andersen & Co.
He is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Economic Club of New York, and the American Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Sam graduated from Emory University with highest distinction honors, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree. He earned his MBA, with a concentration in finance, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated as a Palmer Scholar, a distinction recognizing the highest level of academic achievement.
