Featured is Cresset Partners Executive Managing Director, Private Capital, Chris Boehm and Director, Private Capital Jordan Stein to give an outlook on the emergence of Venture Capital (“VC”). VC has consistently outperformed other asset classes over the last 25 years.1 As a result, many sophisticated institutions are steadily increasing portfolio allocations to the strategy. While successful as a category, VC has one of the largest spreads between the top- and bottom-performing managers. Therefore, it is imperative to gain access to top-tier managers, which is difficult to accomplish for most investors.
