Doug Regan is a Founding Partner and Co-Chairman, Executive Managing Director of Cresset. Doug is responsible for Cresset’s Wealth Advisory Practice; Wealth Strategy and Planning; and Family Governance and Education. He works directly with Cresset Advisors, Centers of Influence, and most importantly, clients.
Based in Florida and Chicago, Doug was most recently Midwest Region Head and Managing Director of J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. He was also a member of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.’s Midwest Operating Committee. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Doug spent 27 years at Northern Trust in a variety of executive positions including President of the Global Family Office business. Prior to that position, Doug was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the Southeast Region of Northern Trust, N.A., with responsibility for 29 offices throughout Florida, Atlanta, Georgia.
Doug is on the Board of Directors of the Old Town School of Music in Chicago. Doug received a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and holds a J.D. from the IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law. He is married to Kathy and between them they have two grown daughters and two grown sons.
