To be considered for the 2022 Barron’s rankings, advisors filled out a 102-question survey about their practice with data as of 3/31/22. Barron’s verified that data with the advisors’ firms and with regulatory databases and then applied a rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula featured three major categories of calculations: assets, revenue, and quality of practice. Cresset paid no application fee to participate.
