Alex Santos, CFP®, CEPA®, is a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor at Cresset. He works with institutional retirement plans, corporate executives, high-net-worth individuals and professional athletes, providing advice and solutions aligned with their financial goals. Alex takes a planning-based approach to wealth management, helping clients define their objectives and develop financial plans that guide their investment and wealth management strategies.

Alex brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services. He began his career at Campbell Williams Inc., a boutique advisory firm in Miami, before joining BV Group, where he partnered with Michael Bober and Ed Ventrice to serve clients across a range of complex financial needs.

Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and was a member of the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the university’s highest honor society. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designation.

A former All-American collegiate athlete, Alex is a member of the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame and was the winning pitcher for the university’s 1999 College World Series national championship team. He also played professional baseball in the Tampa Bay Rays and Oakland Athletics minor league organizations. Alex serves on the board of Vita Nova, a nonprofit that helps young adults transition from foster care through housing and life skills support. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Alex lives in Tampa with his wife, Ana, and their three children.
