Beth Barrett Lawther is a Director, Wealth Advisor for Cresset’s Atlanta office where she works with families, business owners, and foundations to help them achieve their financial goals. She collaborates with Cresset team members, as well as outside trusted advisors, to create and maintain appropriate portfolio allocations and implementations to grow and preserve wealth.
Beth has worked for over 15 years in the investment industry, most recently as an Investment Advisor at Wilmington Trust serving private clients and foundations. Beth was also instrumental in progressing critical business initiatives to enhance the experience for Wilmington Trust clients.
Beth is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. She is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor with the Exit Planning Institute. Beth earned a degree in Liberal Arts from Broward College, graduating with high honors; and attended the University of Nebraska, majoring in Computer Science.
Beth is active in the community and volunteers her time with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the CFA Society of Atlanta, as well as financial literacy campaigns with the Atlanta Society for Financial and Investment Professionals Foundation. Outside the office she enjoys captaining her ALTA Tennis team and working on her golf game.
