Cheryl Evert serves as Managing Director of Fixed Income in Cresset’s Chicago office, serving high-net-worth and family office clients. In this role, she focuses on constructing and implementing efficient, customized, taxable and tax-exempt fixed income portfolios, which are individually tailored to a client’s specific needs.
With over 25 years of fixed income trading and portfolio management experience, Cheryl has a wide breath of knowledge in the product sector. Prior to joining Cresset, Cheryl worked at a Chicago based RIA, Gofen & Glossberg LLC for 16 years, working with advisors and clients on their fixed income allocations. She previously worked as a portfolio manager and trader for Cargill, Inc., The Chicago Board of Education, and UBS Global Asset Management.
Cheryl graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. In the community, she is an active board member of Camp Kesem and the Women’s Auxiliary Board of Misericordia. Cheryl lives outside of Chicago with her husband Geoff, her two active boys, Grady and Clayton, and their dog, Duke.
