Colleen Waddell, CPA, is a Director on Cresset’s CFO Services team in Atlanta, where she partners with high-net-worth families to deliver timely financial reporting and operational accounting designed to bring clarity to complex family enterprises. She focuses on financial reporting, general ledger accounting and cash flow oversight across the trusts, entities and businesses that make up each family’s financial life, working closely with clients and their tax, legal and investment advisors.
Prior to Cresset, Colleen served as Director of Finance and Accounting for an Atlanta single-family office, where she led accounting, reporting and cash management across more than 200 individual and trust entities. She built the family’s financial reporting package, standardized accounting and reconciliation processes across the entity structure, and led the implementation of Addepar, Sage Intacct and Canoe. Colleen began her career in public accounting as an auditor, serving private foundations, nonprofits and real estate clients and acting as a primary relationship contact across complex engagements.
Colleen is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. She lives in Atlanta with her family.
