As Managing Director, Investments David participates in the development and implementation of Cresset’s investment philosophy and manager selection. He also works closely with Cresset advisors to execute investment strategies for client families. David takes pride in his ability to bring order, understanding and opportunity in all types of markets for the benefit of Cresset clients.
Before joining Cresset, David was Vice President of Investment Strategies at Fund Evaluation Group (FEG), an institutional investment consultant. David began his FEG career on the Research Team, focusing on manager due diligence of alternative and opportunistic investments. He was also a member of the Diversifying Strategies and Global Equity Sector Teams. David later led investor relations for FEG’s internal hedge fund of funds and was a senior member of the firm’s Research Services business unit, where he provided asset allocation guidance, capital markets research and manager due diligence to intermediaries.
Prior to FEG, David worked in the executive compensation group of Fidelity Investments. In addition, he worked at Fifth-Third Asset Management where he was a portfolio manager on mutual funds and institutional accounts.
David earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Cincinnati and is a CAIA® charterholder.
