Lina is a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor at Cresset in Dallas, Texas. She advises ultra-high-net-worth families, delivering customized wealth strategies tailored to their unique goals and circumstances. She partners with legal, tax and other professional advisors to provide integrated and comprehensive guidance. Recognized for her ability to build trusted relationships across generations, she is particularly passionate about educating and empowering the next generation to become thoughtful stewards of family wealth.
Prior to Cresset, Lina was a Managing Director on the Partner Relations team at CH Investment Partners, which she joined in 2018. Before that, Lina spent 11 years at Barings, a global institutional investment management firm, where she led risk management for senior secured loans and constructed financial markets thought leadership for clients. Her prior experience includes equity research at Credit Suisse First Boston in Hong Kong, portfolio attribution at Jardine Fleming in Tokyo, and quantitative asset management at Flemings Investment Management in London. Lina was an advisory board member of Headstorm, a technology consultancy firm headquartered in Dallas from 2022-2026.
Lina has a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Cambridge. Lina is active in the Dallas community and serves as a trustee of Texas Health Resources Foundation and previously served on the boards of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas and Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center (Charlotte, NC). A native of Singapore, Lina speaks English, Tamil, basic Mandarin, and beginners’ Japanese and Portuguese.
Lina enjoys playing tennis and traveling with her children, Sesha and Kala.
