Mark Ostroff is a Wealth Advisor at Cresset, where he partners with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, and privately held business owners to help deliver integrated wealth management solutions. With more than 35 years of experience, he aims to bring a holistic, family office–oriented approach spanning investment strategy, wealth planning, and access to private markets.
Mark has extensive experience across alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, and credit. Over the course of his career, he has founded and helped scale multiple asset management businesses, each of which were sold to larger institutions—providing him with a differentiated perspective on manager selection, portfolio construction, and direct investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Cresset, Mark was with Evoke Advisors (acquired by MAI Capital), where he advised sophisticated clients on complex planning and investment strategies. Earlier in his career, he held senior investment banking roles at Morgan Stanley and Kidder Peabody, serving as a Senior Banker in Asia, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs and global families. He also served as a Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs. Mark began his career as a CPA at Price Waterhouse.
Mark is actively involved in a number of philanthropic and professional organizations. He serves on the boards of Shaklee Global and Children’s Rights. He is a longtime member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), where he has held several leadership roles, including Forum Chair, Education Chair, and Chair of the Global Family Office Network. He has also served on the boards of the University of Pennsylvania, A Place Called Home, The Independent School Alliance, and Early Steps.
