Mark Tremblay serves as Head of Family Office Services at Cresset. In this role, he oversees the delivery of a broad suite of non-investment capabilities to support sophisticated, wealthy families with complex needs. These services range from Wealth Strategy (e.g., trust and estate planning, tax compliance, insurance management, philanthropic advisory, family stewardship) to Wealth Administration (e.g., financial reporting, bill pay, payroll, foundation operations, concierge services).
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, with significant expertise in investments, operations, and client service delivery. Over the past decade, he has specialized in supporting single-family offices, including close operational working relationships with several hundred of them. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the broad range of non-investment needs that sophisticated, wealthy families have, from diverse service requirements to robust internal procedures and controls to industry-leading technology platforms.
Prior to joining Cresset, Mark was Regional Director and Head of Family Office Management at Bessemer Trust, where he led all client service delivery for the nine-state Midwest region. Earlier in his career, Mark spent 12 years as a strategy consultant with Monitor Group, where he was responsible for large-scale corporate transformations, including both operational turnarounds and financial restructurings.
Mark earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MLitt from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. He lives in New York City with his wife and five children.
