Jovan Brockett is an Associate Investment Analyst in Cresset’s Atlanta office. In this role, he supports investment research and analysis, helping to evaluate opportunities and develop portfolio insights.
Before joining Cresset, Jovan served as a Venture Associate with the Emory Bio Foundry Institute, where he gained hands-on experience in venture diligence, risk analysis and the evaluation of early-stage companies. He also completed the Emory X Portal Innovations Certificate Program, further developing his knowledge in innovation and entrepreneurship. In addition, Jovan founded VirtuCell, a drug discovery startup focused on advancing innovative approaches in the life sciences.
Jovan earned a Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating with highest honors from Oglethorpe University, and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, where he received the Michael Lee Outstanding Student Award. Outside of work, Jovan is a classically trained pianist and published scientist who enjoys baseball, tennis, football and many outdoor activities.
