Pete Sherlock is a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor with Cresset’s Denver office, where he helps clients build investment portfolios that help them to achieve their financial goals. His focus areas include advising on estate planning, wealth transfer, financial planning, philanthropic endeavors, and credit needs.
Prior to joining Cresset, Pete led a team at Bank of America Private Bank in Denver. He worked primarily with family offices and helped private business owners navigate issues that arise prior to and after the sale of a business. Before joining Bank of America, Pete led J.P. Morgan’s energy team for the Rocky Mountain Region and worked with some of the largest energy families throughout the region. Under his guidance, the team managed more than $1 billion in client assets.
Pete received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Emory University and a master’s degree in International Business from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He also earned a law degree from Emory University and is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Colorado.
Pete has served on the board of Citizen of the West and currently works with Christ in the City and volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. His wife, Laurie, is a neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. They have two wonderful kids.
