Stuart is a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor with Cresset in California and has more than 30 years of global investment experience.
Prior to joining Cresset, Stuart was responsible for managing the investment portfolios and financial relationships for Manchester Capital’s family office clients. Prior to joining Manchester Capital, he was the Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at a New York-based single-family office. Stuart began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. He covered the European telecom sector for 15 years at Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, Deutsche Bank, and BNP Paribas. He later covered the Latin American telecom sector at Bear Stearns and was the Chief Operating Officer at an India-focused private equity and real estate fund.
Stuart earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School with Highest Distinction (Baker Scholar) and his A.B., magna cum laude, in Economics from Dartmouth College. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Stuart served as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council of FASB from 2016 – 2019, and was on the Board of The Jewish Foundation for Education of Women from 2016-2019. He has also been a mentor for more than a decade with American Corporate Partners (ACP), which assists post-9/11 veterans on their paths towards long-term careers.
Stuart and his wife reside in Santa Barbara. Outside of the office, he enjoys running marathons.
