Market Update with Jack Ablin & Doug Regan Featuring Cresset Partners’ Private Funds Group

Elise Ablin is a Director in Cresset’s Private Funds Group. She manages Cresset’s platform for private credit investing in external funds, co-investments, and related opportunities, in partnership with leading third-party, private asset managers.

Prior to joining Cresset, Elise held various corporate underwriting and business development roles in BMO’s Commercial Bank after completing the bank’s commercial analyst development program.

Elise earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Rollins College. She currently resides in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood with her husband, Pat, and their miniature dachshund, Birdie.

Kevin O’Donnell is Executive Managing Director and head of Cresset’s Private Funds Group, encompassing private equity, private credit, and venture capital. He leads Cresset’s platform for global private investing in external funds, co-investments, and related opportunities, in partnership with leading third-party private asset managers.

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience launching and scaling private market investment portfolios for large institutional investors, and leading high-performing teams to deliver strong returns and alpha across global private market portfolios. He most recently served as Head of Private Equity with the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world, where he led an $80 billion global private markets investment program. Prior to that he was the Head of Private and Opportunistic Investments for Kaiser Permanente, where he created and implemented a $20 billion private market program
