Hosted by Eric Becker and Whitney Webb, this thought-provoking conversation featured Sahil Bloom—investor, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and influential voice on redifining success. Sahil’s newest book, The Five Types of Wealth, challenges conventional notions of prosperity by expanding wealth beyond financial capital to include time, relationships, health, and purpose. In a discussion that blended personal reflection with practical frameworks, Sahil encouraged participants to rethink how they measure fulfillment and to craft lives of meaning, resilience, and impact.

Key Themes
  • Redefining Wealth: Bloom outlined his framework of the five types of wealth—financial, time, social, physical, and spiritual—emphasizing that lasting fulfillment comes from balance across these dimensions, not the pursuit of money alone.
  • Escaping the Arrival Fallacy: Drawing from his own journey and examples from sports and business, Sahil highlighted the trap of chasing success as a destination. True satisfaction, he argued, comes from finding meaning in the process rather than postponing happiness for future milestones.
  • Agency and Legacy: Central to Sahil’s message was the power of choice. By rewriting limiting personal narratives and living in alignment with values, individuals can create lives of authenticity and impact. He urged participants to see legacy not just as wealth transfer, but as the influence of daily actions on family, community, and future generations.

About Sahil Bloom

Sahil Bloom is an inspirational author, entrepreneur, investor, and content creator, captivating millions of people with invaluable insights on social media and through his newsletter, The Curiosity Chronicle. After achieving success in finance but wanting to explore beyond the traditional path, Bloom found satisfaction in redesigning life on his own terms. Today, he’s on a mission to empower audiences to do the same by offering battle-tested strategies in decision-making, goal setting, productivity, and personal improvement that equip audiences to build a life aligned with their deepest values. A welcome departure from toxic hustle culture, Bloom’s motivations lie in helping others live intentionally, both in business and in life.

In his debut book and instant New York Times best-seller, The 5 Types of Wealth: A Transformative Guide to Design Your Dream Life (February 2025), Bloom redefines what it means to live a wealthy life. He makes the case that a happy and fulfilling life may include financial abundance but will ultimately be dictated by wealth in the forms of time, social connection, mental clarity, and physical vitality.

Before making it his life’s mission to positively impact one billion lives, Bloom spent seven years in high finance, serving as Vice President and Advisor at Altamont Capital Partners, a private equity fund with $3.5 billion in assets under management, while also serving as a board member at several of the firm’s portfolio companies. A successful entrepreneur, Bloom owns and operates SRB Holdings, a personal holding company comprising ten cashflowing business assets, and is the founder and managing partner of SRB Ventures, a stage- and sector-agnostic technology venture investment fund.

Prior to launching SRB Ventures, Sahil was an early-stage investor in more than 40 startups across the technology landscape, including multiple unicorns.

Sahil graduated from Stanford University with an M.A. in Public Policy and a B.A. in Economics & Sociology.
