Cresset Hires Melissa Karetny as Chief People Officer

She most recently completed a transition role with J.P. Morgan Chase supporting the successful integration of talent and HR processes following the acquisition of First Republic Bank.

SAN FRANCISCO – Feb. 18, 2025Cresset announced today that it has hired Melissa Karetny as Executive Managing Director and Chief People Officer. Karetny brings more than 20 years of experience as a human resources leader with demonstrated success driving people strategy, innovation, and execution of coaching and talent development across the finance / banking, retail, eCommerce, technology and media sectors. She most recently completed a transition role with J.P. Morgan Chase supporting the successful integration of talent, HR processes, and employee data following the acquisition of First Republic Bank. Karetny is based in San Francisco and will be a member of Cresset’s Management Committee.
