Doug Regan is a Founding Partner, Co-Chairman, and Executive Managing Director of Cresset. In his role, Doug is deeply focused on the client experience, working closely with Cresset’s Wealth Advisors and clients to ensure the firm continues to understand and respond to what matters most to the families it serves. He is committed to strengthening client relationships, ensuring clients are highly satisfied with their experience, and helping Cresset continually raise the bar in how it serves clients and their families.
Prior to Cresset, Doug was Midwest Region Head and Managing Director of J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. He was also a member of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.’s Midwest Operating Committee. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Doug spent 27 years at Northern Trust in a variety of executive positions, including President of the Global Family Office business. Prior to that position, Doug was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the Southeast Region of Northern Trust, N.A., with responsibility for 29 offices throughout Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.
Doug received a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and holds a J.D. from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is married to Kathy, and together they have two grown daughters and two grown sons.
