Andrew Karasyk is an Associate Director, Investments. In his role, he focuses on portfolio management, manager research, and sponsor diligence. He assists in maintaining and managing the team’s model equity and credit focused portfolios. In addition, he helps lead the team’s private investment diligence efforts in the private credit, private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge fund spaces.
With a foundation in investment banking and young technology companies, Andrew has had experience in financial analysis, diligence processes, and strategic analysis. He brings a focus on assessing the financial stability and risk of target investments, and provides insights on crucial decision-making processes, as a member of the team’s portfolio management committee.
Prior to joining Cresset in 2023, Andrew was a Senior Associate at First Republic Investment Management. Before that, Andrew spent time at two technology companies: Societe Generale and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and international business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Andrew lives in the NYC area and enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, skiing, and New York sports.
