Robert “Bobby” Gorczakowski is Managing Director, Operations at Cresset. In this role, Robert supports the team as CFO/Finance, including various aspects of operations and audit, with over 40 years of experience in the financial industry.
Prior to joining Cresset, Robert served as a Senior Vice President, Operations at First Republic Investment Management, responsible for CFO/Finance/Operations for his team. Before that, Robert led the transition from Constellation Wealth Advisors (“CWA”) to First Republic Bank during the 2015 acquisition. At CWA, Robert held various roles and served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), Director of Human Resources/Payroll, Financial & Operations Principal (FINOP), and oversaw Information Technology. Preceding CWA, Robert served as CFO & CCO at Kaupthing Securities, and President, COO, CFO and Assistant Treasurer at Ladenburg Thalmann. Robert began his career in 1981.
Robert graduated from the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, with a concentration in accounting, business, and marketing. Robert went on to complete his Master of Accounting and Financial Management (MAFM) degree from the Keller Business Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
Robert and his wife Karen live in Basking Ridge, NJ and enjoy tennis, travel, time with family and friends, and relaxing at the beach. Bobby and Karen have a son, Robert, and a daughter, Nicole.
