Zaid Kayyali, CPWA® serves as Associate Director, Wealth Advisor for Cresset in Houston, Texas. In his role, he serves successful families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and non-profit foundations in Texas and across the country.
Prior to joining Cresset, Zaid was the Director of Business Development at a Houston-based wealth management firm, and he spent the first portion of his career guiding financial advisors across the country on portfolio construction for two global investment management companies. He is passionate about helping his clients unload the burden of wealth management and helping them focus on enjoying the success they have created.
Zaid earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his Master of Science degree in data analytics from the University of Houston – Downtown. In addition, he has earned a post-graduate certificate in Project Management from the University of Chicago and has completed the Yale School of Management Certified Private Wealth Advisor® online course.
Zaid lives in Houston with his wife, Lauren, and enjoys spending his free time with her and their two dogs. He enjoys working on his golf game, listening to podcasts about various interests ranging from astrophysics to medicine to markets and investing, and rooting for the Clemson Tigers.
