Cresset announced today that it has hired Greg Downs, CFA, as Managing Director, Investment Strategy for its West Palm Beach office. With nearly 15 years of investment experience, Downs will focus on developing comprehensive and highly personalized investment strategies for Cresset’s high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in the Southeast region.
“Cresset has an inspiring vision to reinvent how people experience wealth, and that was hugely attractive to me,” Downs said. “I am eager to add my expertise to further realize that vision as I, too, have long believed clients deserve better.”
Most recently, Downs served as Managing Director, Market Investment Executive at U.S. Trust. Previous to that role, he was an Investment Analyst with Seaside National Bank & Trust.
Downs is a member of the CFA Society of South Florida and earned his MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Orlando. A native of the Orlando area, Downs and his wife now live in Palm Beach Gardens.
