Merene is a Managing Director at Cresset. In this role, she oversees the team’s accounting and finance functions to ensure optimal efficiency and strategic coherence.
In 2024, Cresset acquired CH Investment Partners, where Merene served as the Chief Compliance Officer. She was also a Managing Director and Controller on the Partner Advisory team and Operations/Finance teams, where she oversaw and managed accounting, reporting, and operational needs. Before that, Merene spent three years as the Controller at Williams Financial Group, and prior to that worked at Moore Capital Management and Ernst & Young.
Merene graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in economics and earned a Master of Science in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 2008. Merene currently serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Cottage.
