Oleg Ikhelson, J.D., CPA is Managing Director, Head of Tax, advising Family Office clients on complex tax planning and tax minimization strategies, as well as preparing individual, partnership, trust and foundation tax returns. He brings over 20 years of experience advising ultra-high net worth families on federal and state taxation while streamlining compliance and correspondence. By integrating estate and income tax advisory services with wealth and portfolio management, Oleg helps clients benefit from synergistic financial planning and True Fiduciary® standards of transparency.
Previously, Oleg served as Vice President of Tax Planning and Preparation at a prominent New Jersey investment advisory firm, where he advised ultra-high net worth clients and pharmaceutical executives on estate and income tax planning coordinated with wealth management strategies. Oleg also served as Tax Principal in Private Wealth Services for a CPA firm in NYC, catering to the tax planning and compliance needs of wealthy individuals and corporate executives. Oleg has performed extensive tax research, prepared comprehensive reports on Federal, State and International tax planning opportunities, provided state residency and IRS audit defenses, and advised on the taxation of complex investment products and vehicles as well as estate planning GRATs and FLPs.
Oleg graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law and with a Master of Science degree from National Aerospace University — School of Economics, a prestigious European engineering school located in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He holds a Certified Public Accountant license from New Jersey and Virginia, and is a member of the New Jersey, New York and U.S. Tax Court Bars.
In the community, Oleg is an avid supporter of Eliminate Poverty NOW, a non-profit charity that empowers impoverished communities through education and economic opportunities to create, lead and nourish sustainable change. An early contributor and adviser to the Board, Oleg has been supporting students of Little Rock Inclusive Early Childhood Development Centre, a middle school located in Kibera, Nairobi’s and Kenya’s largest slum.
